After reading "A Primer On Global Warming" which can be found on the front page on the American Conserative Union's page, and many, many other articles on this now "Hot" topic I must say this is an excellent overview and well researched paper on the subject done by The National Center For Policy Analysis.
One thing I have learned about the proportion of CO2 vs. H2O is that at least 95% or more of the reason why the atmosphere of our earth warms is due to the retention factor of water vapor, H2O, not CO2. When compared side by side, i.e., H2O and CO2, you will see the hugh difference between them. When debating with the Al Gorists of the world, who argue that CO2 levels have risin, no one seems to depict the two on a side by side comparison. One small slide in the presentation depicting the composition of our atmosphere, which was done as a pie chart, briefly shows the components of our atmosphere, Oxygen, Nitrogen, Argon and other trace gases.
The human eye see differences better when compared in the form of a bar graph as oppose to a pie chart. When the proponents of global warming state the CO2 is the "largest" component of our atmosphere which has incresed over tha past 50 years they do not show H2O next to it which would tower above it. If one shows a sample bar graph but leaves out a criticle component in it, it is not being honest. It is trying to skew the data in favor or a particular outcome, i.e., one can make numbers show anything just by manipulation. The bar graph of the Gorist's does this, it show only a partial view of the make up of our atmosphere.
I wish someone would call their bluff and design a bar graph chart comparing just the two elements. I believe this would be a graphic expose of why CO2 is NOT really the culprit in this argument.
There are over 17,000 scientists who have signed the Idaho Petiton. When statements such as "All the scientific comunity" agrees that we are going through a global warming period and that green house gasses are the problem, it seems to me that 17,000 people who do not agree with these doom sayers are not "ALL."
What will happen if people on Capital Hill believe Mr. Gore and his merry band of gloomy sunday folk, is that it will creat hundreds of government grants and money for a lot of, so called "Global Warming researchers" who need a pot of money for their little niche of research.
Research for what? To me this is akin to when people used to argue about whether or not the Earth was flat or round. Once it was determined that the Earth was, in fact round, all the research on this subject stopped, correct?
Well, we have all the scientic research data that tells us that water vapor retains the most amount of heat. We have all the data that proves that water vapor makes up the majority of the elements in the atmosphere. We have all the data that agrees with the fact that CO2 has risin over the past 50 years or so, AND that larger amounts of CO2 in the atmosphere benefits the plants and animals. We have all the data that shows us coming out of a mini ice age, so . . . the earth's temperature will, by defalt, rise when coming out of a mini ice age. When you research all this data and then analyse it, it will prove that the earth is warming BUT it is NOT attributitable due to large increases of CO2. Water vapor is a component and a factor.
Now, let us consider all the money and governmenet grants that have gone into the research and development of the Electric and Hydrogen car. Some of the AL Gorists of the world believe that the Hydrogen car might be the answer to our dreams. Yet, the emissions of the hydrogen car is what? . . . . it is water droplets, right? And lets remember that the largest portion of the elements in our atmosphere is good old fashion water vapor . . . so, the Hydrogen car will do nothing more then to add more water to our atmosphere, which in turn should add to the increased rate of temperature gain for our planet. Make sense?? I ask you.
Everything the proponents of Global Warming propose goes against good old fashion scientific research to date. There is nothing that human beings can do to the degree that will influence the global temperature here on earth. The nations that have not signed the Keto Agreement are and will be the ones which will have the largest influence of our atmosphere, not the U.S., UK or other Keto signers or . . . AL Gore.
